Raising money for Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Centers

Founded in 1920, the Salesmanship Club of Dallas is an organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and their families in the greater Dallas area. The Salesmanship Club of Dallas, in partnership with Salesmanship Club Charitable Golf of Dallas, is sponsor of the EDS Byron Nelson Championship. The Salesmanship Club raises millions of dollars each year for its charity through the Championship.

Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Centers (SCYFC) is the beneficiary of the net proceeds from the EDS Byron Nelson Championship.

SCYFC is a nonprofit organization that provides education and mental health services for children and their families in the greater Dallas area. Believing in the strength and resilience of families, SCYFC joins with children and their parents to explore new solutions to the difficulties and challenges they encounter.

The EDS Byron Nelson Championship leads the fundraising effort for SCYFC with the goal each year to cover most of the budget needed to run its programs. The 2007 Championship raised more than $6.4 million in net proceeds.

Since its inception, the EDS Byron Nelson Championship, with the help of its sponsors and patrons, has raised more than $100 million for charity, placing it at the top of the list of all-time tournament contributors on the PGATOUR.
